AFTER-EFFECT

As we all know, everything that we do will have an effect and it depends on our action. I believe that we are in charge of our own action and shall take responsibility of whatever the outcome is.
The rate of suicide is increasing more and more each year. Do you think you are going to be selfish like one of them who commit suicide? Yes, I call it a very selfish action. Do you know why? Before that, I’d like to remind you that everything we do will not only affect ourselves but also everyone around us especially our beloved family, friends and society. Learning that your loved one has died by suicide can absolutely be traumatic.
In addition to all the feelings that anyone would feel about the death of a loved one, when the death is a suicide, there are additional feelings like extreme guilt for not preventing the suicide, failure because a person they loved felt unloved and committed suicide. Yes, it is devastating for the family, because they must think that how hard it was for them who commit suicide that they have to take their own life. Other than that, it will come to a point of confusion for the family members or friends. Unfortunately, friends and family of those who have committed suicide also experience impacts on their own mental health.

Why are we letting this happening? Are we just going to sit back and watch? It will be too late when it’s too late.
